TRUST ADMINISTRATION AND SERVICES:

• Trust Administration – serve as trustee or successor trustee or trust protector for all trusts including but not limited to the following:

  • Revocable and irrevocable living trusts and related sub-trusts,

  • Testamentary trusts,

  • Bypass, disclaimer, and spendthrift trusts,

  • Special needs trusts (both first and third party),

  • Charitable remainder trusts, and

  • Insurance trusts

• Trust Accountings – professional fiduciary accountings for both Court and non-Court supervised trusts.  This service is included as part of our trust administration, but also offered to non-professional trustees, conservators and family members requiring a balanced and transparent accounting to provide to beneficiaries and/or the Court.  

ESTATE SERVICES:

• Probate Administration – serve as executor/personal representative as named in your will or through Court appointment. 

AGENT FOR FINANCE AND HEALTHCARE:

• Durable Power of Attorney for Finance – act as agent for financial and legal matters related to your personal finances and estate (assets not included in trust).  Includes daily monthly management (bill pay), and assistance in coordinating services required for daily living.

• Advanced Health Care Agent – act as agent with power of attorney for health care including scheduling of and accompaniment to medical appointments, arranging transportation, acting as liaison between medical providers and family members or other interested parties.  Providing personal and professional advocacy for individuals in need of assistance in managing their health care.

CONSULTING SERVICES:

• Agent for Trustee or Conservator – serve a agent for trustee or conservator in matters that require a local agent, expertise outside of their personal experience or other matters, either court or non-court appointed.

• Consultant for family members, friends or other non-professionals related to finances, estate, or care decisions and related costs for senior family member or another person.  

 

Professional Fiduciary Fee Range Schedule:

TRUSTEE FEES:

Professional Fiduciary fee range for usual and customary duties/services as Trustee are computed as follows:

Professional Fiduciary fees on a percentage of assets basis:

1%-2% per annum for usual and customary services subject to the size of the Trust, type and complexity of assets and services provided.

Additional professional fiduciary fees may be charged at hourly rates ranging from $165-$175 per hour for unusual/extraordinary services such as, but not limited to, complex tax issues, complex real property sales and litigation.

Support Staff hourly rate range                            $45 -  $82.50 per hour

Minimum annual fee of $5,000

PROBATE ADMINISTRATION FEES:

Fees payable to the Professional Fiduciary as the Executor/Personal Representative for customary services are authorized under Probate Code §10801 and, pursuant to Probate Code §10800 are computed on a fee base comprised of gross assets, plus receipts and gains, less losses, as follows:

• 4% of the first $100,000

• 3% of the next $100,000

• 2% of the next $800,000

• 1% of the next $9,000,000

• 0.5% of the next $15,000,000

• Court discretion after $25,000,000

In addition to statutory fees, pursuant to Probate Code §10801, extraordinary fees can be requested for services such as, but not limited to, tax issues, real property sales and litigation. Though fees for extraordinary services are subject to court approval, extraordinary services are charged at the following hourly rates:

Support Staff hourly rate range                   $45 - $82.50 per hour
